Welcome to the Coordination Office for Midwives for the City and District of Passau!

The Koordinierungsstelle für Hebammen (Coordination Centre for Midwives) is a group of freelance midwives from the city and district of Passau, who aim to support as many women as possible at home during the first 28 days after childbirth. Outpatient births are excluded.

Please note that we cannot provide care after these three weeks and we may not be able to cover every shift.

On days when we are unable to provide cover, please contact the maternity clinic, your gynaecologist, or your paediatrician.

Please note:

• It is always the midwife on call who will visit you, which means that a different midwife may visit you each time.
• Care can be provided up to 3 weeks after childbirth!
• You must register separately for each type of postnatal care you require!

What we offer:
Monday, Wednesday and Friday: postnatal visits
Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday: telephone consultations
There is no on-call service on Sundays and public holidays!

This service is free of charge for you and is funded by the Free State of Bavaria.
